Our claims application financial audit sampled the full pack over twelve business days. We found that one contractor’s labour schedule overlapped with another’s scaffolding line, inflating the indemnity request by a material sum. The findings memo listed the overlapping items and recommended a revised settlement figure supported by the remaining invoices. The carrier used the memo in its settlement meeting; the insured later supplied a corrected estimate that aligned with our schedule.
